Tater Tot Casserole

Yield 10, 8 oz portions

Ground Beef 3 lb

Olive Oil 2 tbl

Garlic, m

inced 1 tbl

Onions ¾ lb

Celery ½ lb

Diced Canned Tomatoes 1 ½ lb

Tomato Sauce 1 cup

Beef Stock 2/3 cup

BK Herbs 1 tbl

Whole milk 2/3 cup

Worcestershire sauce 1 tbl

Salt & Pepper TT

Cheddar Cheese Shredded 2 cup

Frozen Tater Tots As needed to cover the top


Preheat pan over medium heat and add the olive oil. Add the ground beef, onions, celery and garlic and cook to a golden brown, breaking the meat into small pieces.

Add the tomato product, stock, milk herbs and Worcestershire sauce and bring to a simmer.

Cook for 15-20 minutes over low heat.

Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to your desired taste and remove from the heat and cool.

Once cool, place in the appropriate size baking pan and spread out evenly.

Cover the top with the cheddar cheese and line the tater tots on top.

Bake in a 350 degree oven until the tots are golden brown. The meat filling will be bubbling on the sides.

Remove and serve at once.
