Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies
~ Makes 3.3 Dozen ~
Okay okay okay! People have asked, so we have answered! We are weekly baking up some fresh chocolate chip cookies for our volunteers and people are demanding to know our recipe.
So... Wait no more, time to get baking!
Sugar 8 oz
Brown Sugar 8 oz
Butter 10 oz
Salt 1.5 TSP
Baking Soda 1.5 TBSP
Eggs 8 oz
All Purpose Flour 16 oz
Chocolate Chips 1 lb + 5 oz
Method:
1. Combine sugars, butter, salt and baking soda; cream together.
2. Add eggs slowly.
3. Add all purpose flour. Mix until just combined; do not overmix. Add chocolate chips and mix just enough to combine,
4. Portion onto sheet pans by drop method or using a portion scoop, 1 ½ ounces each cookie.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown on edges.
6. Pour yourself a glass of milk or grab a scoop of vanilla ice cream and ENJOY!
