We all share the two most basic human needs for survival, the need to breath and the need to eat.  The problem is that air is free, and food is not.  It is that simple fact that gives food such enormous power over a person’s life.  We’ve learned firsthand that there is no better way to intimately get to know a person than sitting down and breaking bread with them.

Food breaks down all the barriers and we use that to connect in a more meaningful way with our guests.  We literally deliver hope, one tasty meal at a time.

The heart of who we are can be found in a statement first uttered in 1957 by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr;  “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?”

At the core of our mission is a deep commitment to our nonprofit charity partners, business and professional supporters, volunteers, donors and employees.  Our relationship with each and every one of these groups is as important to us as those we feed.

The holidays are a magical time of year that most of us look forward to dinner parties, special events and just spending time with loved ones enjoying a meal or exchanging gifts.  During this time we hope that you will take the time to think of those less fortunate among us and ask yourself if you can help.  At Bracken's Kitchen we believe very strongly that our abundant blessings are designed so that we might bless others.

We have ambitious goals in 2019 and we hope that you will consider how you might be able to help us reach those goals.
